Campus Instructional Plans

In alignment with district expectations for instructional transparency and family engagement, each department at Coleman High School provides instructional plans outlining the essential components of each course. These plans are designed to inform students, parents, and stakeholders of course expectations, learning goals, and instructional supports.

Our goal is to foster open communication, consistent expectations, and a clear understanding of how we support student success across our campus.

If you have questions about a specific course or plan, please reach out to the listed teacher or department directly.

Self-Paced Instructional Courses on Campus — Edgenuity

Our campus offers a flexible, self-paced learning option through Edgenuity, an online instructional platform designed to help students complete coursework aligned with Texas state standards and graduation requirements.

What is Edgenuity?

Edgenuity is a digital curriculum provider offering a wide range of courses—from core subjects like English, Math, Science, and Social Studies to electives and credit recovery options. Students work independently online, progressing at their own pace with support from campus staff.

Course Selection and Graduation Plans

Each student’s course load is personalized based on their individual graduation plan. This means students may take different courses depending on their credits earned, graduation pathway, and academic goals.

Instructional Materials and Curriculum

The instructional materials used in Edgenuity courses include video lessons, interactive activities, quizzes, and assessments, all designed to meet Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills (TEKS) standards.
